Your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis in cooperation with the IARA Institute for Applied Research on Ageing

Have you ever thought about writing your thesis in the field of ageing research?
Then you’ve come to the right place. Our team brings together different disciplines (technology, economics, social sciences) and works interdisciplinary on many different themes. Perhaps there is an interesting topic for you among them.

  • Recording climate fears and everyday parameters in relation to actual weather conditions
  • Digital before outpatient before inpatient: potential for TeleCare in combination with outreach care and support for older people with care and support needs
  • Local concepts for accompanying, supporting and caring for people with increasing care and support needs in Carinthia/Austria
  • Community care teams in the provision of support for older people: international models and their applicability for Austria/Carinthia
  • Effects of technical solutions on the financial viability of the healthcare system
  • Willingness to pay for technical assistance systems in the healthcare sector
  • Financing of technical assistance systems in the healthcare sector in an international comparison
  • Conditions and influencing factors for an attractive workplace in institutions for long-term care
  • Conception and financing strategies for age-appropriate and climate-friendly community design
