HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN IARA?
There are several ways to get involved in the research topic of ageing and to enter into dialogue if we have common interests. We research practical problems and develop tried-and-tested solutions. We conduct applied research using participatory methods and actively involve our target groups. The topics of our projects are very diverse.
Would you like to find out more about how we work and our projects?
Work at IARA as an intern (min. 1 month), student employee (min. 15h/month) or in projects. There are not always (or not always immediately) available or suitable opportunities, but every path begins with a step. Both as a student and as a graduate, you can contact us if you are interested.
Find a topic from the field of ageing research that you would like to explore in more detail in your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis. We may also be able to suggest a topic that matches your interests. Possible open topics are also advertised on our website. Even if you don’t have a concrete idea yet, but are interested, something can grow out of it. Read more…
Visit our lectures. Specific research projects in the context of ageing research are presented and often worked on together. If you are interested in a topic, we will try to support you in attending parts of lectures or courses outside of your core study programme as a guest. There is also the possibility of IARA guest lectures.
