Interdisciplinary | Exchange | Digital Marketing & Sales | Engineering & IT | Eye tracking |
On April 9, 2026, as part of the Market Research Seminar course, students from the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) Bachelor’s program in Digital Marketing & Sales at the School of Management swapped their usual lecture hall for the state-of-the-art labs at the Faculty of Engineering & IT, supported by colleagues from the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary IARA Institute for Applied Research on Ageing, which has been active since 2016.
Eye tracking as a bridging topic
The focus was on a topic that bridges the gap between marketing analysis and technical innovation: eye tracking. While tomorrow’s marketing experts learned how to measure the success of digital strategies, eye tracking provided precise data on where users’ attention truly lingered. It’s a valuable tool for taking user experience and advertising impact to the next level!
Out of the lecture hall – and into real-world, cross-faculty collaboration
These collaborations demonstrate how we combine practical knowledge and technical expertise at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences to prepare our students for the digital future.
On-site team
Thank you to the on-site team for the fascinating insights and interdisciplinary collaboration: Eleni Zografou (Junior Researcher at IARA), Yannick Schwann (Junior Researcher at IARA), Albert Luger (Senior Researcher at IARA & Course Instructor), and Delilah Leutschacher (Intern at IARA).
