During the second phase of the AliVe project, CUAS piloted an innovative micro-credential educational programme in collaboration with persons over 55, enhancing lifelong learning opportunities and empowerment.

This approach not only enhances participants’ personal development but also promotes social inclusion and active ageing. The AliVe project focuses on educational innovation and creates participatory learning environments that empower older adults in particular, a fact which was highlighted in the evaluation of the micro-credential pilot by the target group.
The AliVe project team at CUAS designed and piloted a micro-credential called ‘Lifelong Learning – Find Your Own Learning Path’ in collaboration with the project’s target group, i.e., adults aged 55+ from rural and urban areas throughout Carinthia and beyond. The micro-credential structure allows participants to acquire specific skills and knowledge in a flexible format, tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults. By offering bite-sized learning modules, the micro-credential ensures that education remains manageable and engaging, even for those who may not have taken part in formal education for some time.

Many thanks to our participants for joining us on this journey!
