Piloting and Evaluating Micro-Credentials with Older Learners

Following the participatory co-design of micro-credentials in all four AliVe partner countries, the second phase of the project involved piloting and evaluating these micro-credentials. Learners aged 55+ were invited to attend the micro-credential courses free of charge and asked to provide feedback on various aspects, including the course content, organisation and atmosphere. Combined with demographic data, this provided important insights into the target group, their preferences and ultimately how micro-credentials can best be designed to meet the needs of older learners.

The AliVe micro-credential pilots were co-designed with the relevant local target groups, resulting in different designs in each partner country:

In total, 53 older learners took part in the micro-credential pilots.
