Cork’s Lifelong Learning Festival was the backdrop to our first AliVe Project Multiplier Event and Transnational Meeting hosted by ACE (Centre for Adult Continuing Education) University College Cork, Ireland on April 10th & 11th 2024.
We participated in the Cork Learning Cities event ‘Learning Cities Conversations: International Ideas in Action’ where we heard about some amazing and innovative lifelong learning initiatives happening in Ireland and internationally. The key theme for the day was ‘partnership’ and we learned the positive impact that these city-wide partnerships can have on the lifelong learning opportunities for citizens across a city.
